Dr. Raj Chavan(MBBS, MS(ENT)), is a well known personality from the medical fraternity in Wanawadi, the place where he runs his brainchild, Kamal Nursing and Maternity Hospital. Dr. Raj obtained his MBBS degree from B.J Medical College and then went on to pursue MS(ENT) at the Sasoon Hospital. Prior to starting Kamal Nursing and Maternity Hospital, Dr. Raj has worked as a lecturer in B.J Medical College, Sasoon Hospital and Bharati Vidyapeeth's medical college. Wanawadi is a place in Pune wherein there are very few hospitals. With this information, in the year 1999 Dr. Raj decided to start his own hospital. This hospital has two facilities. The ENT department is handled by Dr. Raj himself and Gynaecology department is looked after by Mrs. Dr. Vaishali. Dr. Raj is appointed as the Honorary Consultant at Amby Valley Sahara Lake City Hospital wherein he performs ENT Surgeries as well. Presently Dr. Raj is Honorary Consultant at State Reserve Police Hospital Pune.
